B&SR #4

Service History and Technical Data

 B&SR #4 was the only H.K Porter Locomotive purchased by the B&SR. Built in 1901 the locomotive was well liked by the master mechanic however some of the other crews disagreed. The locomotive would stay in service until 1930 when her boiler was removed from the frame to provide heat in the engine house.
